UNS C28000 brass, often known as Muntz metal, is a copper-zinc alloy composed of roughly 60% copper and 40% zinc. It was named after George F. Muntz, who invented the alloy in the early 1800s. C28000 brass is corrosion-resistant, machinable, and has high strength and ductility. Inconel may also be easily linked using soldering or brazing, making it appropriate for a wide range of applications.
The bright yellow color of UNS C28000 brass is one of its distinguishing characteristics, making it an appealing choice for decorative applications such as jewelry, ornaments, and architectural embellishments. It is also simple to process and can be molded, machined, and formed using a variety of techniques, including casting, extrusion, and forging, making it a versatile material for a wide range of tasks. Machinability of UNS C28000 Brass

Weldability of UNS C28000 Brass

Corrosion Resistance of UNS C28000 Brass
